This $295 million project includes the 500,000-square-foot Collaborative Life Sciences Building and Skourtes Tower as well as a 430-stall parking garage. The building consists of 270,000 square feet of new education and research space (lecture halls, classrooms, labs, specialty research centers, offices) in addition to 7,500 square feet for retail and food services and 16,000 square feet for building support. The Skourtes Tower will house OHSU School of Dentistry facilities. Initial occupancy will occur in August 2013 with full completion expected by the spring of 2014. Inspections include reinforced concrete, post tension concrete, masonry, shotcrete, proprietary anchors, shoring materials, pile grout, base plate grout, fireproofing, structural steel shop fabrication and field erection, ultrasonic testing, curtain wall and floor flatness testing.
