This $45 million project consisted of renovations to a historic landmark. Hamilton International Middle School was built in 1927 and was credited with landmark status in 2006. The three-story, 115,000-square-foot school sits on a two-acre site that has a 31-foot elevation difference from one side to the other.  Updates expanded the capacity to 1,000 students and included a new 12,626-square-foot gymnasium addition, 45-car covered parking garage, technology lab and a pedestrian connection to Wallingford Park. The Hamilton International Middle School historic renovation project received a Best of 2010 award for the K-12 Education category by Northwest Construction News.  Inspections included reinforced concrete, epoxy grouted anchors, reinforcing steel, shotcrete, masonry, structural steel, welding, fiber-reinforced polymer and lateral framing.
