Port of Seattle SeaTac Airport Runaway 16L Reconstruction, SeaTac, WA
April 2009 - present

New 20 inch thick concrete runway spanning 150 feet wide and 11,900 feet long, sitting atop 12 inches of sub base and four inches of asphalt. Inspections include soil density and testing of 1,591 concrete beams at our on-site laboratory, along with extensive testing of subgrade, base course, concrete aggregates and fly ash.

SeaTac Airport Rental Car Facility, SeaTac, WA
May 2008 - present

$402 million, 2.1-million square foot structure is the first sustainable demonstration and sustainable asset management project at the airport, designed to be LEED certified. This new five-floor facility adds two floors of parking and 3,200 new spaces to the existing airport garage. Inspections include reinforced concrete, post tension concrete, masonry, fireproofing, seismic resistance systems, epoxy grouted and expansion anchors, structural steel fabrication and erection.

Northwest Detention Center, Tacoma, WA
December 2008 - present

150,000 square foot detention complex, designed for INS and Homeland Security purposes, includes 800 beds in four housing pods. Within an aggressive ten month construction schedule, inspections included reinforced concrete, structural masonry, expansion anchors, epoxy grouted anchors, structural steel erection and fabrication, and ultrasonic testing.

Sound Transit Airport Station, SeaTac, WA
April 2008 - present

Completing the initial phase of Sound Transit’s Link Light Rail, this $74 million elevated transit station linked to the SeaTac Airport Garage is built to accommodate a 200-person capacity train every 6-10 minutes. Inspections include reinforced concrete, reinforcing steel, augercast, grout, welding, masonry, epoxy grouted anchors, soils, structural steel and ultrasonic testing.

Terminal 91 Cruise Ship Terminal, Seattle, WA
Completed: January 2009

New $38.8 million, 43,000 square foot terminal. Inspections include soil compaction, reinforced concrete, augercast concrete, epoxy grouted anchors, expansion anchors, structural steel fabrication and erection, ultrasonic testing, and asphalt compaction.

Troutdale Airport Taxiway B and Reynolds Industrial Park, Troutdale, OR
Completed: March 2009

Project consists of relocation of airport taxiway, site preparation for new FedEx handling facility, relocation of roads, pumphouse, and miscellaneous utilities. FAA guidelines utilized for testing and inspection. Inspections and testing include reinforced concrete, soil density testing, embankment material observation, masonry and asphalt density testing.

Seattle Center Fifth Avenue North Garage, Seattle, WA
Completed: June 2008

New $50 million parking garage will include 1,000 parking stalls on five levels with four of them being below grade. The structure will also have 4,000 square feet of office space and 20,000 feet of shell and core for customer service space. Inspections include reinforced concrete, post tension concrete, masonry, epoxy grouted anchors, expansion anchors, shoring, structural steel erection and ultrasonic testing.

Kent Events Center, Kent, WA
Completed: September 2008

New $35 million, 172,000 square foot arena with seating for 6,500 people. Inspections include reinforced concrete, augercast concrete, baseplate grout, epoxy grouted anchors, expansion anchors, maosnry, structural steel fabrication and erection, ultrasonic testing and fireproofing.

Portland Aerial Tram, Portland, OR
Completed: December 2006

$45 million aerial tram between the Portland South Waterfront and OHSU consisting of three steel structures with unusual geometry, complex weld joints and high performance coatings. Inspections include reinforced concrete, epoxy grouted anchor, expansion anchors, structural steel fabrication and erection, ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, dye penetrant testing and coatings.

South Terminal Expansion Project, SeaTac, WA
Completed: March 2004

$400 million expansion project including demolition and expansion of the airport’s main concourse, building an expanded main terminal arrivals hall and a five story office building. Onsite laboratory provided. Inspections include structural steel fabrication and erection, ultrasonic testing, reinforcing steel, concrete, masonry, shotcrete and fireproofing.

Completed: July 2002

$430 million, 397,000 square foot, five-story stadium with seating for 72,000. Project includes a 2,756 space parking facility, press box, luxury boxes, restrooms, concession areas, and offices. Concrete structural frame, brick/pre-cast concrete exterior with steel roofing. Testing and inspection of reinforcing steel, cast-in-place concrete including driveways, sidewalks, piling, pile caps, footings, foundations, grade beams, slabs-on-grade, on-grade parking lots, concrete beams, columns, elevated decks, ramps, and miscellaneous below-grade and above-grade cast-in-place structures; testing and inspection of all geotechnical work, excavation, backfill, compaction, grading, and paving; testing and inspection of off-site pre-cast/pre-stressed concrete fabrication; welding testing and inspection including reinforcing steel and piling installation; batch plant inspection, asphalt compaction testing, materials and aggregate testing and analysis. Provide on-site testing facility.

$517 million, 45,611 seat baseball stadium with retractable roof, parking garage, offices, luxury suites, stadium club, restaurants, concessions areas, clubhouses, team locker rooms.
