New $30 million, government center with 136,000 square foot two-story office and maintenance building and an 11,000 square foot firing range building. Inspections include soil and asphalt density, non-shrink grout, reinforced concrete, epoxy grouted and expansion anchors, structural masonry, structural steel fabrication and erection, and fireproofing.
Washington Corrections Center for Women Health Care Facility, Gig Harbor, WA
Completed: March 2009
$17 million 22,600 square foot structural steel building with membrane roofing houses administrative and medical offices for state correctional complex. Inspections include reinforced concrete, nonshrink grout, expansion anchor, structural steel fabrication and erection, lateral framing, seismic resistance, floor flatness and soils.
McNeil Island Corrections Center, Steilacoom, WA
July 2009 - present
New facility includes 5 living units and segregation unit. Inspections include reinforced concrete, ultrasonic testing, structural steel fabrication and erection.
Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco,
Renton, WA
Completed: November 2007
New 95,000 square foot, three story bank building. Inspections include reinforced concrete, precast erection, epoxy grouted anchors, expansion anchors, structural masonry, baseplate grout, structural steel fabrication and erection, fireproofing, lateral framing, seismic resistive systems and asphalt compaction.
Coffee Creek Correctional Facility,
Wilsonville, OR
Completed: April 2007
$15.3 million addition to phased correctional facility expansion project includes cells, offices, group rooms, storage, dental exam area and intake area expansion expansion. The Women’s Minimum-security area includes a 108-bed dormitory, with two medium-security housing units totaling 108 beds. Inspections include reinforced concrete, structural steel fabrication and erection, fireproofing, epoxy grouted anchors, expansion anchors and structural masonry.
Bellevue New City Hall,
Bellevue, WA
Completed: February 2006
$101 million, 2 building renovation to include police offices, city courts, 911 emergency response center and new below grade parking garage. Inspections include reinforced concrete, shotcrete, post-tensioned concrete, structural steel, welding, epoxy dowels, expansion bolts, pre-cast welding, composite fiber wrap, masonry, fireproofing, epoxy dowel load testing and pachometer testing. On-site laboratory provided.
City of Portland Big Pipe Project,
Portland, OR
Completed: July 2005
Provide on call special inspection and materials testing on City of Portland projects, including roadway, utility and municipal building projects. MTE has provided several inspectors on the Portland “Big Pipe Project” which is a $293 million, 9.5 mile long storage tunnel to handle the city’s sewage overflows. Services on this project have included inspection of soils, concrete, precast as well as settlement monitoring.
Snohomish County Campus,
Everett, WA
Completed: March 2005
$500 million new government campus including new county correctional facility, administration building, records building and parking garage. On site laboratory provided. Testing and inspection includes concrete, precast concrete, structural steel erection and fabrication, masonry, roofing and soil density. Also performed floor flatness testing and magnetic particle testing.
Washington State Legislative Building,
Olympia, WA
Completed: October 2004
Phased rehabilitation work for Capital building including earthquake damage repair. Inspections include soils density, concrete, grout underlayment, epoxy anchors, structural steel fabrication/erection, sheet metal flashing, shotcrete, roofing, waterproofing, fiberwrap strips, epoxy crack repair, proof load testing and asphalt density.
